This features an illustration of an orange dragon and tiger in a colorful floral setting with a tree in a style named after Sakaida Kakiemon (酒井田柿右衛門), a Japanese potter who created the first enamelled porcelain in Japan in the early 1600s. Many European porcelain styles of Meissen, Chantilly and Chelsea in the 1800's were inspired by the Kakiemon motifs. This illustration dates from 1775 - 1799.
